Quick Dip
Oceanic Tribe presents an elite expedition to the Lembeh Strait, the global epicenter of biodiversity. This is not a standard dive trip; it is a curated residency for the discerning observer. Designed for those who appreciate the intersection of marine science and visual storytelling, this expedition focuses on the intricate "micro-architecture" of the ocean. Our mission is to provide an intimate, low-impact, and highly educational immersion into the world’s most exclusive muck-diving environment.
-
2:1 Guest-to-Guide Ratio: The highest level of service in the Strait. With only two divers per guide, we ensure you never miss a sighting and never feel crowded in the sand.
The NAD Residency: We’ve secured our spot at the world’s gold standard for macro. Designed for divers, by divers, with the best camera room and jetty in Indonesia.
The Alien Hunt: Specialized "Muck Diving" targeting the world’s rarest evolution—Mimic Octopus, Flamboyant Cuttlefish, Hairy Frogfish, and the legendary Rhinopias.
Macro-Specialized Media: We don’t just dive; we document. You’ll receive a curated photo and video package specifically focused on the "Underwater Aliens" we discover.
The Total Reset: 7 nights of total immersion. No distractions, no shoes, and no static. Just high-focus diving and the quiet of the North Sulawesi coast.
Zero-Friction Logistics: From the moment you land in Manado until you fly out, we handle every transfer, every meal, and every detail.
Itinerary - The Flow
-
We land in Manado (MDC) where our private transfer meets us for the journey to the Strait. We’ll check into NAD, get the gear sorted in the dedicated camera room, and have our first Tribe dinner overlooking the water.
-
Three daylight dives focused on buoyancy mastery and macro-spotting.
-
The Rhythm: 3 boat dives a day, with optional night dives for those who want to see the real night-shift aliens.
The Service: The 2:1 guide ratio means no crowds. Our guides find it; we witness it.
The Off-Gas: Evenings are for the camera room, the pool, or the lounge, swapping stories and reviewing the day's media over local food.
-
Afternoon session: Curating the Expedition Gallery. Farewell dinner.
-
Final breakfast and airport transfers.

We’ve refined our policy to ensure we can lock in the best guides and residency spots for the family well in advance.
The Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $ 950 is required to secure your spot. This allows us to commit to our partners in Lembeh/Maldives immediately.
The Balance: Full payment for the expedition must be completed by March 1st.
The Cancellation: If you need to cancel after the March 1st deadline, we will issue a 50% Tribe Credit valid for 12 months toward any future trip or experience.
The Bottom Line: These commitments allow us to maintain the high standard of the "Tribe Treatment"—from private boat charters to elite guide ratios.
While the Maldives is about finding space, Lembeh is about finding focus. Known as the "Critter Capital of the World," the Lembeh Strait is a pilgrimage for the Tribe members who want to slow down, sharpen their eyes, and witness the weirdest evolution the ocean has to offer.
For this mission, we are taking over a wing of the legendary NAD Lembeh Resort—the gold standard for macro diving and photography.
The Experience:
Macro Mastery: 10–12 guided boat dives with a 2:1 guest-to-guide ratio. This is the highest level of spotting service in the world.
The Alien Hunt: We aren't looking for giants. We’re tracking "Underwater Aliens"—Mimic Octopus, Hairy Frogfish, Rhinopias, and Blue-Ringed Octopus.
The Rhythm: This is a high-focus, low-speed mission. It’s technical, rewarding, and the ultimate psychological "unplug" through the art of observation.
The Tribe Treatment (Included):
Shared Residency: 5 Nights in a shared room at NAD Lembeh (Twin-share with a fellow Tribe member).
Professional Setup: Full access to NAD’s world-class, 30-station Camera Room and the only floating jetty in the Strait.
Total Logistics: All meals (Full Board) and round-trip airport transfers from Manado (MDC).
Media: Specialized macro-focused photo and video of the alien world we discover.
